At the London roadshow for the upcoming 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), British business leaders highlighted China’s role in enhancing global supply chain stability and fostering international cooperation.
Lord Mayor of London Alastair King described the expo as a key platform for strengthening global supply chains through openness and sustainable development. He encouraged more British businesses to participate, citing opportunities for expanding networks and collaboration.
Sherard Cowper-Coles, Chair of the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), emphasized the steady progress of Britain-China trade relations and expressed optimism about future cooperation. The CBBC has facilitated British business delegations at previous CISCE events, reflecting ongoing engagement between the two countries.
Jack Perry, Chairman of Britain’s 48 Group Club, acknowledged the increasing complexity of global supply chains and the challenges posed by economic disruptions. He stressed the importance of international cooperation in strengthening supply chain resilience.
The CISCE, scheduled for July 16-20 in Beijing, will focus on key industries such as advanced manufacturing, clean energy, smart vehicles, digital technology, healthcare, and green agriculture. Business leaders view the expo as an opportunity to explore emerging supply chain solutions and enhance global trade partnerships.
