Singapore – June 10, 2026 – The International Trade Council (ITC), in a joint initiative with the International Centre for Trade Transparency (ICTTM), has officially announced the global expansion of its suite of professional certificate courses. In an effort to support global economic growth and minimize compliance bottlenecks, these specialized training programs are being offered completely free of charge to business leaders worldwide.

The comprehensive curriculum is hosted directly on ICTTM’s advanced trade-intelligence ecosystem, ADAMftd, and can be accessed immediately at:

As regulatory environments grow increasingly complex, the partnership aims to lower the barrier to entry for cross-border commerce. By eliminating the standard $499.00 to $699.00 enrollment fees, the initiative provides companies of all sizes—particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)—with the critical tools required to navigate modern compliance, risk management, and international logistics.

Featured Certification Courses Now Available

The open-access catalog includes a diverse range of foundational and intermediate courses, each structured to deliver immediate operational value:

• CBAM Fundamentals: An Introduction to Carbon Border Adjustments
A 4-hour course breaking down the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). It demystifies carbon leakage, targeted industrial sectors, phased implementation timelines, and initial reporting obligations for non-EU exporters.

• Certificate in International Trade Fundamentals (CITF)
A comprehensive 12-hour program mapping global trade flows, trade terminology, key stakeholders, and the core operational steps of the export lifecycle, concluding with a framework to build a functional export plan.

• Professional INCOTERMS Certification: Rules & Responsibilities
An intensive 16-hour professional-level course detailing the 11 INCOTERMS 2020 rules. It provides practical guidance on how costs, risks, and transport obligations are allocated between buyers and sellers.

Foundations of Global Logistics and Freight Forwarding

Aligning with the Certified Global Logistics Associate (CGLA) curriculum, this 15-hour course covers ocean, air, rail, and multimodal transport, alongside container shipping, port operations, and warehousing.

Mastering Foundational Requirements of Supply Chain Disclosure

A 12-hour masterclass exploring evolving global transparency laws, including the UK Modern Slavery Act and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).

Professional Certificate in Export Pricing and Costing Analysis

A 15-hour financial framework focusing on landed cost calculations, freight allocations, distributor margins, and currency volatility management.

Empowering Global Business Resilience

The shifting dynamics of international trade place a heavy premium on specialized knowledge. Mistaking an Incoterm, misclassifying a tariff code, or failing to report carbon metrics can result in costly border delays, severe financial penalties, or seized cargo. By delivering professional-grade certification at zero cost, the International Trade Council and the International Centre for Trade Transparency are helping businesses proactively audit their protocols, build resilient distribution networks, and scale their international operations.

Enrollment Information

All courses are entirely online, self-paced, and include professional certification upon successful completion of final assessments.
