Türkiye’s coffee exports have generated approximately $154.7 million in revenue over the past five years, according to data from the Turkish Statistics Institute (TÜİK). During the same period, the country spent over $1 billion on imported coffee, as Türkiye does not grow coffee beans domestically but instead processes and exports coffee products to various international markets. The coffee export figures reveal a steady increase, rising from $20.2 million in 2020 to $23.8 million in 2021. Exports further climbed to $36.5 million in 2022 and reached $39.7 million in 2023. In the January-August period of 2024, Türkiye’s coffee shipments amounted to $34.5 million.
