Uzbekistan recorded a record US$33.4 billion in merchandise exports in 2025, reflecting strong growth driven by economic diversification, expanding manufacturing, and higher-value industrial production.
The country’s export portfolio has broadened beyond traditional commodities to include precious metals, textiles, machinery, chemicals, fertilizers, food products, and agricultural goods. This diversification is strengthening supply chain capabilities while increasing the value of manufactured and processed exports.
China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, and Afghanistan remained Uzbekistan’s leading export markets, highlighting the country’s growing role as a trade and logistics hub connecting Central Asia with Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Supported by continued investment in manufacturing, mining, agriculture, and logistics infrastructure, Uzbekistan is enhancing its export competitiveness, strengthening regional supply chains, and expanding its presence in global trade.
