The UAE is strengthening its role as a global trade and logistics hub as its network of economic partnerships expands across Asia, Africa and Europe.
The country’s non-oil foreign trade reached AED1.937 trillion in the first half of 2026, while non-oil exports climbed to around AED452.8 billion. Trade with markets covered by active Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs) reached AED304.3 billion.
The growing network is opening new opportunities for UAE exporters through lower tariffs, improved market access and stronger trade connections. Partnerships across India, Africa and Europe are helping diversify export destinations and strengthen regional supply chains.
With its ports, free zones and logistics infrastructure connecting major global markets, the UAE is increasingly positioned as a key link between Asian, African and European trade corridors.
The expansion highlights how trade agreements and logistics connectivity can work together to support export growth, investment and more diversified supply chains.
