Poland is strengthening its logistics infrastructure with a new 200,000-square-meter distribution center in Lower Silesia, scheduled to begin operations in October.
The four-story facility will use more than 5,000 mobile robots to support warehouse activities, moving inventory directly to employees and helping streamline order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
The center is expected to create more than 1,000 full-time jobs during its first year, including positions in warehouse operations, engineering, technology, workplace safety, administration, and robotics maintenance.
The development highlights the growing role of automation and human-robot collaboration in modern supply chains. By combining advanced technology with skilled workers, large distribution facilities can improve operational efficiency, support faster order fulfillment, and strengthen logistics capacity.
The investment also reflects Poland’s expanding role as a strategic logistics hub in Europe, supporting distribution networks and employment while increasing the country’s capacity to serve growing consumer demand.
