The Philippines is strengthening its supply chain ecosystem as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) expands its Supply Chain and Logistics Center (SCLC), bringing more logistics providers into a collaborative network designed to improve market access for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
The expanded network now includes 39 member organizations across key logistics sectors, reinforcing efforts to streamline the movement of goods, improve supply chain coordination, and provide businesses with more cost-effective logistics solutions.
The initiative supports the country’s growing export sector by helping MSMEs access reliable transportation, warehousing, cold chain, air cargo, and contract logistics services. By improving logistics connectivity and reducing shipping costs, the program aims to enhance the competitiveness of Philippine products in global markets.
With exports continuing to grow, expanding public-private collaboration in logistics is expected to strengthen supply chain resilience, improve trade efficiency, and support long-term economic development through more reliable and integrated logistics networks.
