HawaExpo 2025 officially opened in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, on March 4, featuring a wide range of made-in-Vietnam furniture and wooden products for export.
The three-day event is jointly organized by five major Vietnamese wood industry associations: the Vietnam Timber and Forest Product Association (Viforest), the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCM City (HAWA), the Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA), the Dong Nai Wood and Handicraft Association (DOWA), and the Forest Products Association of Binh Dinh (FPA Binh Dinh). It highlights Vietnam’s advancements in furniture design and manufacturing technology.
HawaExpo 2025 integrates traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, showcasing leading domestic brands in furniture, home décor, and accessories. The exhibition features over 100 high-quality handicraft products and includes a Design Talk, as well as the launch of the Hoa Mai Design Award 2025, aimed at fostering creativity among young designers.
Beyond the exhibits, the event hosts seminars and workshops on e-commerce, logistics, and export standards, helping businesses adapt to international market trends. The online platform Hopefairs and collaborations with global logistics providers are also part of the expo’s initiatives to connect Vietnamese businesses with international buyers.
Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, emphasized that HawaExpo 2025 plays a key role in strengthening Vietnam’s position in the global furniture market, supporting business growth, and attracting foreign investment.
