Germany’s industrial and export activity showed stronger-than-expected momentum in June, signaling improving conditions for the country’s manufacturing and supply chain sectors.
Industrial production increased 0.2% month on month, marking a third consecutive monthly gain. Automotive production rose 3.6%, while other transport equipment, including aircraft, ships and trains, jumped 8.4%.
Exports also increased 0.9%, marking the fifth consecutive monthly rise and highlighting continued demand for German manufactured goods in international markets.
The stronger performance points to improving activity across key industrial supply chains, particularly automotive and transportation equipment. While global trade uncertainty remains, the latest figures suggest Germany’s manufacturing base is maintaining resilience and supporting broader export activity.
