Delhi, India: In a significant move towards community service, boAt, a leading consumer electronics brand in India, has announced a collaborative effort with the Shoobhi Foundation, a recognized non-governmental organization. This partnership is focused on ensuring the availability of clean and safe drinking water to the public and various communities throughout the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR). The initiative is part of boAt’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, underlining the company’s dedication to contributing positively to society.

Under this collaboration, boAt will extend financial assistance to the Shoobhi Foundation, facilitating the provision of accessible clean drinking water. Additionally, Wahter, a modern and popular water brand, is joining the initiative as an expert and knowledge partner. Wahter will also serve as a distribution partner, supplying clean and safe bottled water to communities using special carts and strollers. In an effort to minimize environmental impact, the initiative will use bottles made from 100% recyclable materials. Wahter’s commitment to quality is backed by certifications from FSSAI, ISO, and other industry authorities, ensuring the highest standards of water purity.

Aman Gupta, Co-founder & CMO of boAt, commented on the partnership, stating, “Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental human right, and we at boAt are committed to addressing this essential need in our local communities. Our collaboration with the Shoobhi Foundation is a step towards making a significant difference in the lives of many by ensuring they have access to clean and safe drinking water.”

The Shoobhi Foundation expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that boAt’s commitment to social responsibility aligns with their mission. This collaboration is expected to broaden their outreach and provide clean drinking water to a larger segment of communities across Delhi NCR, thereby impacting numerous lives positively.

Amitt Nenwani, Co-founder of Wahter, also shared his perspective, applauding boAt for leading a movement in redefining corporate social responsibility in partnership with the Shoobhi Foundation. He emphasized the broader implications of the initiative, highlighting that access to clean water is a right and not a privilege. This initiative underscores the commitment of both boAt and the Shoobhi Foundation to social responsibility. By facilitating access to clean and safe drinking water, they aim to tackle a crucial public health issue and enhance the well-being of residents in the Delhi NCR region.
