The outcome of this partnership will be showcased at the forthcoming Automate trade show in Chicago from May 6-9, where the companies will unveil the new OMRON intelligent Cognitive Robot (iCR) series.
Derived from NEURA Robotics‘ MAiRA line, the OMRON iCR series incorporates integrated sensors and AI technologies to cater to the requirements of industrial clients seeking enhanced flexibility, productivity, and efficiency. Notable features include an optional integrated 3D vision sensor, a user-friendly interface, and NEURA’s advanced safety architecture to ensure improved performance and safety.
The potential of the new robot will be demonstrated at Automate through a 3D bin-picking demonstration, showcasing how AI-enabled cognitive automation can augment manufacturing processes’ efficiency and flexibility. Additionally, the integration of OMRON‘s all-in-one Sysmac control platform will be highlighted, emphasizing its capability to streamline complex operations.
