VC Grid, a syndicate fund, has led a $1 million seed funding round for Pikndel, a logistics technology company specializing in innovative delivery solutions for direct-to-consumer (D2C) and ecommerce brands. The funding round also included participation from D2C Insider Angels, Breathe Capital, Venture Catalysts, and several industry leaders.
Pikndel provides brands with diverse delivery options, including one-hour and next-day delivery, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. The company’s shared dark store model is designed to meet the growing demand for rapid, cost-effective deliveries in the ecommerce sector.
“With the quick commerce market projected to reach $10 billion by 2029, Pikndel’s scalable model ensures accessibility and operational efficiency for a broader range of brands,” said Vansh Oberoi, Managing Partner at VC Grid.
Pikndel’s solutions address the evolving expectations of consumers, where speed is becoming a top priority. The company’s network of shared dark stores enables brands to launch quick-commerce services within 72 hours, bypassing the challenges of setting up individual facilities.
According to Siddharth Batra, Founder of Pikndel, “The fast-paced nature of today’s market has heightened demand for efficient delivery systems. Our shared dark store model and agile last-mile delivery solutions offer brands a reliable way to meet these expectations while optimizing ROI.”
The newly raised funds will be utilized to enhance last-mile delivery capabilities and expand service offerings to support partner brands in their quick-commerce endeavors.
