The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is set to host a significant event this fall, the Pharma Logistics Masterclass, which brings together experts from around the globe to tackle challenges in the pharmaceutical industry. The event, running from September 30 to October 3, is organized in partnership with Pharma.Aero, known for its focus on the secure transportation of pharmaceuticals. This masterclass will delve into key issues within pharmaceutical logistics by facilitating discussions among industry professionals, academics, and students. Gabriela Wilson, co-director of UTA’s Multi-Interprofessional Center for Health Informatics, emphasized UTA’s commitment to regional and global development through this initiative.
“Our participation highlights our dedication to addressing both local and global challenges in pharmaceutical logistics,” Wilson stated. This year marks the fourth iteration of the masterclass and its debut in North America. UTA will specifically host events on October 2, focusing on the role of artificial intelligence in revolutionizing logistics and supply chain management within the pharmaceutical sector. Roel Gevaers, professor of logistics and supply chain innovation at the University of Antwerp and chair of the Pharma Logistics Masterclass, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event. “We are excited to host the masterclass in Dallas-Fort Worth, a key strategic location.
This gathering is an excellent opportunity for leaders and innovators to engage with cutting-edge solutions and collaborate on advancing the future of pharma logistics,” Gevaers noted. The masterclass aims to foster innovation and collaboration, addressing the evolving challenges faced by the pharmaceutical logistics industry.
