in Artificial Intelligence in Trade

The United States is seeing continued growth in artificial intelligence, robotics and advanced logistics technologies as digital platforms expand their capabilities across the rapidly evolving commerce sector.

A US-based logistics technology platform has reached a US$3 billion valuation following a US$250 million Series F funding round, supporting the expansion of its fulfilment network, software capabilities and artificial intelligence initiatives.

The platform currently supports more than 1,000 businesses through approximately 100 fulfilment locations worldwide. Its services combine fulfilment operations, software, AI, robotics and returns management to help businesses strengthen their digital commerce capabilities.

A major development is the launch of a physical intelligence laboratory in Atlanta, where teams are developing and testing agentic AI, robotics and advanced automation using live fulfilment operations. The initiative focuses on exploring how emerging technologies can improve workflows, efficiency and responsiveness.

The platform processes approximately eight billion data points annually, creating opportunities to train advanced models and enhance decision-making across fulfilment and commerce operations.

The continued expansion of e-commerce is increasing demand for faster delivery, greater visibility and more personalized customer experiences. Digital platforms are responding by integrating automation and AI into their operations, helping businesses expand their capabilities while maintaining direct relationships with consumers.

The company’s revenue has grown more than tenfold over the past four years, while its operations now support more than US$15 billion in annual gross merchandise volume and reach nearly one in four US households.

The growing adoption of AI, robotics and physical intelligence highlights the United States’ continued development of technology-driven commerce, creating new opportunities for automation, digital services and next-generation fulfilment solutions.
