Ukraine is strengthening its logistics connections with Europe through a new Kyiv-based transport coordination office focused on multimodal freight and cross-border supply chains.
The initiative aims to support trade between Ukraine and the European Economic Area by coordinating rail, road and other transport services, while helping businesses navigate customs procedures and border crossings more efficiently.
Local logistics expertise and expanded partner networks are expected to improve the movement of goods across key corridors, supporting industries, infrastructure projects and humanitarian operations.
The development also builds on several years of transport cooperation between Ukraine and Europe, including the creation of humanitarian freight corridors and stronger connections with Ukraine’s national rail network.
As reconstruction activity expands, improved transport infrastructure and reliable cross-border logistics could play an important role in supporting Ukraine’s economic recovery and strengthening its integration with European supply chains.
