South Korea and the United States completed a joint logistics exercise in Pohang focused on cargo handling, temporary port operations and efficient ship-to-shore delivery.
The exercise brought together more than 1,900 personnel and tested the ability to establish temporary port facilities for moving vehicles, supplies and equipment to shore.
The training highlighted the importance of flexible port infrastructure, coordinated cargo operations and resilient supply networks, particularly when working in areas with limited existing facilities.
The experience can also support stronger cooperation and operational efficiency across maritime logistics networks.
