LONDON, United Kingdom — Baba Mohammed Dapchi, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sadiama Corporation, will represent the interests of the Nigerian construction and real estate sectors at the International Trade Council Global Convocation & Leadership Forum. Mr Dapchi will join a selected group of global business leaders and policymakers for a three-day programme held across various venues in London to discuss the future of international trade and infrastructure development.

Sadiama Corporation is an established Nigerian firm with a history spanning more than three decades in the physical development sector. Since its incorporation on 16 June 1992, the company has operated as a general contractor, managing building construction, civil engineering projects, and the procurement of essential goods for large-scale infrastructure. Based in Abuja, the firm serves as a critical link in the Nigerian development chain, providing the technical expertise and material supply required for both residential and commercial property solutions.

The company’s participation in the London forum comes at a time of significant urban expansion across West Africa. As Nigeria continues to modernise its city centres and transport networks, the role of experienced domestic contractors is increasingly vital to the regional economy. Sadiama Corporation intends to use the forum to explore new partnerships with international suppliers of heavy machinery and advanced construction technology, ensuring that local projects are supported by a resilient and transparent global supply chain.

During the three-day programme, Mr Dapchi will engage in high-level discussions regarding market access and sustainable building practices. For a company headquartered in the Central Business District of Abuja, maintaining proximity to international trade standards is essential for long-term growth. The forum provides a platform to showcase the capabilities of the Nigerian private sector while seeking investment and collaboration opportunities that can enhance the quality and efficiency of infrastructure delivery in the region.

The expansion of Nigeria’s urban infrastructure requires a sophisticated approach to both material procurement and project execution. Our participation in this forum allows us to discuss the logistical challenges and opportunities inherent in the West African market with a global audience of policy makers and industry peers. It is essential that we establish reliable, transparent supply routes for the specialised goods necessary to sustain our long-term development goals.

By engaging directly with international trade experts, we aim to refine our operational frameworks and ensure that our projects in Abuja and beyond meet the highest international benchmarks for efficiency and transparency. This dialogue is a practical step toward strengthening the commercial ties that underpin large-scale infrastructure investment.

Mr Dapchi, who is a member of the International Trade Council, has led Sadiama Corporation through its formative years to its current status as a recognised entity in the Nigerian construction industry. His presence in London underscores the importance of integrating African real estate and engineering firms into the wider international trade landscape, fostering a more inclusive environment for cross-border commercial exchange.
