Liaoning Jinhai Holdings Group (Jinhai Holdings), established in February 2020, has officially joined the International Road Transport Union (IRU), bringing its extensive expertise in logistics and customs operations to the global platform.
A key project of Jinhai Holdings is the Shenyang National Logistics Hub Jinhai Park, a service hub that includes container yards, office buildings, warehouses, and a customs supervision zone covering over 8,000 square meters. Since July 2024, the hub has been handling TIR operations, gaining valuable experience in customs clearance and logistics to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of international road transport.
IRU Secretary General Umberto de Pretto welcomed Jinhai Holdings to the IRU, stating, “We are pleased to have Jinhai Holdings join our community. Their rapidly growing operations in China will further strengthen international road transport and expand the role of the TIR system in China and the wider region.”
Jinhai Holdings Chairman Ren Yi expressed the company’s enthusiasm about joining the IRU, saying, “We are excited to align with the IRU’s mission for safe, efficient, and sustainable road transport. Jinhai Holdings focuses on providing flexible transport solutions for TIR businesses, enhancing cross-border logistics, supporting trade, driving digitalization, and contributing to local economic development while prioritizing energy conservation and emissions reduction.”
Based in Liaoning province, Jinhai Holdings employs 1,500 people and continues to grow its influence in the global transport sector.
