Senegal is strengthening collaboration among government institutions, communities, civil society and development partners to improve health outcomes for women, children and adolescents.
The initiative is bringing stakeholders together around shared priorities including maternal and neonatal health, family planning, adolescent healthcare and reproductive health, while also supporting stronger domestic health financing.
A key focus is youth engagement and digital communication. Community initiatives and trained social media ambassadors are helping expand access to reliable health information through podcasts, live sessions, radio and other digital platforms.
The program has also strengthened budget advocacy and local coordination, with stakeholders working to improve health financing and encourage more regular monitoring of local health priorities.
With continued collaboration, awareness efforts and investment in healthcare systems, Senegal is building stronger foundations for more inclusive, coordinated and accessible health services.
