WEPSEA 2026 is set to highlight the country’s evolving packaging market through a forum focused on molded fiber packaging as an alternative to conventional plastic food packaging. The event will connect packaging producers, material suppliers, technology providers and food industry participants across the value chain.
Growing food delivery, modern retail and ready-to-eat food markets are increasing demand for packaging that provides heat resistance, leak protection, grease resistance and food safety. At the same time, sustainability policies, food-contact standards and halal requirements are encouraging greater development of fiber-based packaging solutions.
Molded fiber products are gaining attention for applications including takeaway containers, meal trays, fresh produce packaging, egg cartons, cup carriers and ready-to-eat food packaging.
