Truck owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in Negros Occidental will gain access to new income opportunities and cost-management support as FAST Logistics Group expands its presence in Bacolod in response to fluctuating fuel prices and rising operating expenses across the transport sector.
The company announced it will host the FAST Truckers’ Roadshow Bacolod on May 13 at L’Fisher Hotel. The free event will introduce programs designed to help local operators stabilize income while also offering on-site accreditation for participants interested in joining the company’s nationwide logistics network. The initiative is aimed at strengthening partnerships with small and independent truckers while supporting business continuity amid changing cost conditions.
Industry participants have faced tighter margins due to higher fuel prices, maintenance costs, and other day-to-day operating expenses. To address these challenges, FAST Logistics is promoting a dry lease arrangement that allows truck owners to earn fixed monthly income without handling daily operational responsibilities. This setup enables owners to generate revenue while the company manages dispatching, trip scheduling, and other operational requirements.
Under the dry lease model, FAST Logistics assumes responsibility for fuel, repairs, toll fees, and staff salaries. This structure helps reduce exposure to fluctuating overhead costs and provides truck owners with more predictable earnings. The arrangement is designed for those seeking stable income while minimizing operational risks.
For operators who prefer to remain active in daily trips, the company is offering a lock-in program that guarantees a minimum monthly payment even if trip volume varies. Partners who exceed their target trips can earn additional income beyond the guaranteed base, providing flexibility for those looking to maximize revenue.
To further support cash flow, FAST Logistics is also introducing a fuel savings program that covers upfront refueling expenses. The cost is later deducted from completed trip billings, helping partners manage liquidity while maintaining operations. Accredited participants may also access financing options intended to help expand their fleets and increase capacity.
The company said the initiative aligns with its ongoing expansion of end-to-end logistics services in Bacolod and nearby areas. By strengthening its partner base, FAST Logistics aims to improve service reliability while creating more opportunities for local transport operators.
FAST Logistics is currently seeking various vehicle types, including 10-wheeler trucks, 6-wheeler trucks, refrigerated vans, AUVs, container trucks, and flatbed trucks. Through its existing contracts with large corporations in the Philippines, the company aims to provide consistent delivery requirements for participating partners, supporting both business growth and operational stability.
