Automation leaders MattressTek are again showcasing their innovation in component processing at Foam Expo North America under their AutomateTek brand, following the successful installation of two substantial new production lines for a customer in Michigan—a relationship that stemmed from last year’s expo. The company has consistently demonstrated its prowess, evidenced by its finalist status in the Machinery Innovation category at the UTECH trade show, recently held concurrently with Sleep Expo Europe.
Further enhancing their international presence, MattressTek has been announced as a finalist for the ‘UK Expansion in the US’ award in the BritishAmerican Business TransAtlantic Growth Tracker and will take part in a roundtable to celebrate and share their success. This nomination follows their participation as finalists in the TMMX awards for International Trade at a House of Lords reception, where the Manufacturing Opus 100 directory was launched.
The company is also a finalist again in the Insider Made in the North West Awards’ Export category, and was honored as the Most Innovative Manufacturing Machinery Company and at the SME News Business Elite Awards and named Specialist Machinery Manufacturer of the Year at the Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence Awards, besides contending for a NICHE Business Award.

Their engineers have recently returned from America after installing two specialized lines for preparing foam components used in crates, featuring advanced technology such as under-line reuse and integration into the production line through chain conveyors and scissor lifts at each end.
