Atlanta, GA / Singapore / Washington, DC – The International Trade Council (ITC) and the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation in advancing global trade opportunities for Black-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The signing ceremony, held virtually on August 21, 2025, brought together leaders from both organizations.
As part of this new collaboration, the ITC and NBCC jointly launched:
- “Global Pathways: Empowering Black-Owned SMEs to Export to the World” – a comprehensive, practical guide available for free download at https://tradecouncil.org/empowering-black-owned-smes-to-export-to-the-world/.

Together, these initiatives are designed to help Black-owned SMEs identify new markets, evaluate risks, comply with trade regulations, and grow internationally.
