France and Saudi Arabia have agreed to develop a €6 billion entertainment and tourism project near Paris, highlighting growing cross border investment and opportunities across the construction and services sectors.
The development near Cergy Pontoise is expected to include three theme parks and create around 22,000 jobs, with construction planned over several years. The project forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to diversify its economy and expand its international presence in leisure and tourism.
From a supply chain perspective, the large scale development is expected to generate demand across construction materials, transportation, infrastructure, hospitality, retail, and related services. Its scale also highlights how international investment can connect suppliers, contractors, service providers, and local markets.
The agreement further demonstrates the potential for foreign investment to support infrastructure development, employment, and stronger commercial connections between France and Saudi Arabia.
