FedEx Supply Chain, located at 2901 Black Ridge Road in York, will be laying off approximately 70 employees in early 2025. According to WARN Notices, the layoffs are set to occur between February 17 and March 3, 2025.
A statement from Shannon Davis of FedEx confirmed that the company will discontinue service for a customer occupying space at the York facility. While operations for other customers will continue at the site, activities related to this particular customer will cease in March.
FedEx has assured that affected employees were informed of the changes in advance and is working to assist them in finding new employment opportunities, including positions at nearby FedEx locations.
