Fabletics has announced a collaboration with Blue Yonder to strengthen its supply chain planning capabilities.
The activewear brand will implement Blue Yonder’s cloud-based supply chain solutions to optimize demand planning, allocation and replenishment, merchandise financial planning, and size scaling as part of its global expansion strategy. The implementation will be supported by Plantensive, a Blue Yonder partner.
By integrating Blue Yonder’s technology, Fabletics aims to develop a flexible and data-driven planning system that aligns with its growth objectives. The platform will analyze various datasets and algorithms to generate inventory recommendations tailored to different sales channels, including direct-to-consumer e-commerce, retail, dropship, and wholesale. This optimization is expected to enhance inventory turnover and overall revenue.
The improved planning framework is also expected to support sustainability initiatives by optimizing inventory placement, minimizing waste, and contributing to the brand’s CarbonNeutral certification. Enhanced demand forecasting will enable Fabletics to better meet consumer expectations while maintaining efficiency.
Additionally, the partnership is set to enhance inventory management and increase planner productivity by providing deeper insights into demand trends and customer behavior. Advanced allocation tools will ensure precise inventory distribution, helping to prevent overstocking and unnecessary markdowns. The merchandise financial planning function will align company-wide strategic goals with inventory profitability, while size scaling capabilities will ensure a balanced distribution of sizes across locations, reducing excess stock.
Derek Cesarz, Managing Partner at Plantensive, stated, “We are excited to work with Fabletics and Blue Yonder in driving their digital transformation. Our goal is to provide seamless planning, allocation, and replenishment solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve the customer experience.”
Vince Beacom, President of Global Retail at Blue Yonder, added, “Retailers face increasing challenges in managing supply chains due to evolving market conditions. Fabletics is taking proactive steps to enhance their operations, meet consumer demand, and scale their business globally. We look forward to supporting them alongside our partner Plantensive.”
