Academic Affairs will host an all-day event titled “All AI 2024 — Envision Tomorrow: Exploring AI’s Role in Higher Education” at the Pollak Library on Tuesday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Speakers from various institutions will share insights and research on expanding the use of artificial intelligence in higher education.
The morning keynote speaker will be Kyle Jensen, a professor of English and director of writing programs at Arizona State University. The afternoon keynote speaker will be Todd Taylor, a teacher and scholar in the Department of English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The event is free and open to the public, with encouragement for faculty, staff, and students to attend. Attendees will have opportunities to network, ask questions of the speakers, and participate in discussions on the future of AI in higher education.
Amir Dabirian, provost and vice president for academic affairs at CSUF, emphasized the importance of exploring AI’s integration to enrich students’ education and prepare them for the future while advancing educational objectives.
