China is strengthening its international logistics infrastructure with a major expansion of express cargo capacity at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.
The upgraded gateway can now process around 900 tons of shipments per day, tripling its previous capacity and creating more than 1,000 jobs.
A new daily cargo connection linking China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe will also add up to 50 tons of daily shipping capacity, supporting faster movement of goods across major trade corridors.
The expansion highlights China’s continued investment in air cargo infrastructure, cross-border connectivity, and supply chain capacity, helping businesses respond to growing international trade demand.
Greater cargo capacity and stronger trade links can improve connectivity, support regional supply chains, and reinforce China’s role in global logistics.
