Cambodia’s trade with fellow ASEAN economies is gaining momentum, with regional trade reaching $11.68 billion in the first seven months of 2026, up 20.7% from the same period last year.
Imports rose strongly by 32.6%, while exports reached $3.54 billion. ASEAN markets accounted for 25.6% of Cambodia’s total global trade during the period.
Trade growth was supported by shipments of garments, footwear, electronics, solar panels, automotive products and agricultural commodities, highlighting the region’s increasingly diverse manufacturing and production networks.
Stronger cross-border commerce, regional investment and deeper economic integration are helping connect Cambodia more closely with Southeast Asian supply chains.
The momentum points to greater regional connectivity, expanding manufacturing networks and stronger trade opportunities across ASEAN.
