The Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation (CITT) has introduced its new Environmental Sustainability in Canadian Logistics microcredential. This online program, consisting of three courses, is designed to enhance sustainability skills in the transportation and distribution sectors.
The program, developed with input from subject-matter experts and funded by the federal government, was initially piloted in 2024. It is now available to both individuals and teams, with each course offered on demand for flexible learning.
The courses—Introduction to Sustainability in Transportation and Distribution, Sustainability Challenges and Solutions in Transportation and Distribution, and Technologies Supporting Sustainability in Transportation and Distribution—can be completed individually or as part of the full program, leading to the microcredential.
The CITT emphasizes the importance of environmental sustainability in logistics as a crucial aspect of its mandate and for the future of business in Canada.
