Argentina is advancing its energy infrastructure with the delivery of more than 2,265 coated and concrete pipes, weighing over 10,000 tonnes, from China to the Port of San Antonio Este.
The shipment, covering more than 14,600 cubic meters, required careful coordination across road, barge and ocean transport to keep the project on schedule.
Special handling, engineered securing systems and continuous inspections helped ensure the sensitive cargo arrived without damage, while loading was completed within the planned three days.
The pipes will support connections between Vaca Muerta’s gas reserves and new floating LNG facilities, strengthening Argentina’s ability to develop its LNG export capacity.
The project highlights how effective multimodal logistics and infrastructure planning can support large-scale energy development and create new opportunities for regional trade.
