Cape Town, South Africa – October 2026 — The International Trade Council (ITC) has joined African Mining Week (AMW) 2026 as a partner, strengthening its engagement with Africa’s mining and natural resources sector and supporting greater connections between African opportunities and the global business community.

With mining and natural resources continuing to attract international capital, stronger connections between investors, businesses, governments and industry stakeholders are increasingly important to supporting sustainable growth and unlocking new opportunities across the continent.

The International Trade Council has highlighted the continued flow of investment into Africa’s industrial and mining sectors, as well as the growing role of international capital in supporting resource development, infrastructure and broader economic opportunities.

At African Mining Week 2026, these priorities will take centre stage as mining leaders, investors, government representatives and industry stakeholders gather to explore the future of Africa’s mining sector. Key areas of discussion will include critical minerals, mining investment, beneficiation, infrastructure, technology and the development of Africa’s mineral value chains.

Through its partnership with African Mining Week, the International Trade Council looks forward to strengthening international business connections, encouraging investment dialogue and supporting greater collaboration between Africa’s mining opportunities and the global business community.

African Mining Week 2026 will take place from 14–16 October 2026 at CTICC2 in Cape Town, South Africa.
