7X has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Urbi, a prominent geo-intelligence firm, to utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) technology for optimizing logistics operations. The agreement, formalized at GITEX Global 2024, involves Urbi providing technological support to 7X and its subsidiaries to improve delivery efficiency.
Signed by Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of 7X, and Alexander Sysoev, Chairman of Urbi, the partnership aims to integrate Urbi’s mapping and geospatial technologies into 7X’s operations. This includes developing a detailed ‘Base Map’ with residential and business listings, geocoding APIs, and real-time route optimization to enhance accuracy in deliveries and reduce operational costs.
