New York, November 2, 2023 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has recently completed the acquisition of The Shelby Group, a prominent provider of digital procurement and optimization services. This acquisition further strengthens Accenture’s expertise in sourcing and procurement technology transformation. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Established in 2002 and headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, The Shelby Group specializes in procurement technology consultancy, with a particular focus on Coupa and Ivalua solutions. Their core mission is to assist clients across various industries, including manufacturing, financial services, consumer, healthcare, and technology, in streamlining procurement operations by enhancing spend visibility, task automation, and cost reduction. The Shelby Group’s team, comprising 172 highly skilled sales and delivery professionals, will integrate into the Connected Solutions group within Accenture Technology. This move reinforces Accenture’s status as a Coupa Global Elite partner and strengthens its relationship with Ivalua.
