The Second International Conference on Robotics, Automation, and Intelligent Systems (ICRAINS 2024) convened in Coimbatore, organized by the Division of Robotics Engineering at Karunya Deemed University. Prof Bechar shared insights on the integration of robots and AI for smart agriculture, drawing from her expertise as a Scientist from The Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Research Organization, Volcani Center, Israel. Dr. Winston, Head of Remote Handling and Irradiation Experiments Division at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, discussed advanced remote inspection system developments for the nuclear domain.
Beyond the formal presentations, ICRAINS 2024 provided a rich environment for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in discussions, share experiences, and explore potential avenues for future research and collaboration.
