Kazakhstan is strengthening economic cooperation with India’s West Bengal, aiming to boost trade, investment, and supply chain collaboration across key industries including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, mining, energy, and logistics.
Recognizing West Bengal as a strategic gateway to northeast India and Southeast Asia, Kazakhstan is seeking to expand commercial partnerships that enhance regional connectivity and facilitate cross-border trade. The initiative reflects growing efforts to build stronger economic links between Central and South Asia through diversified trade and investment.
A high-level business delegation from Kazakhstan is scheduled to visit India in September to explore new investment opportunities and strengthen business-to-business collaboration. The engagement is expected to support greater cooperation in logistics, engineering, food processing, information technology, green energy, and other high-growth sectors.
The initiative highlights the increasing importance of international partnerships in building resilient supply chains, expanding market access, and promoting sustainable economic growth across the region.
