Hong Kong’s logistics services sector is gaining momentum, supported by rising enterprise demand, expanding fulfillment activity, and increased adoption of digital workforce solutions across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
The logistics segment recorded more than 42% year-on-year revenue growth in the fourth quarter, while quarterly revenue increased by more than 20% compared with the previous quarter. Monthly revenue reached a record HK$4.4 million in June 2026, highlighting continued demand for logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment services.
Operational activity also reached a new high, with more than 135,000 service hours delivered during the quarter. The increase reflects growing utilization across distribution and fulfillment operations, including specialized activities such as cold-chain services.
Digital improvements are also supporting the sector’s expansion. Enhanced online platforms and automated talent-matching systems are helping logistics operators connect with qualified workers for distribution, warehousing, and other supply chain activities.
The broader market is providing additional momentum. Hong Kong continues to serve as an important logistics hub for air cargo, electronics, and cross-border electronic commerce, while Mainland China’s logistics activity and high-technology manufacturing are also expanding.
Together, stronger trade activity, digitalization, and flexible workforce solutions are contributing to the development of more scalable and responsive supply chain operations across the Greater Bay Area.
