CEVA Logistics has successfully transported luxury fragrance machines and perfumes from Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, France, to Hangzhou, China, in just one week. This delivery was made to meet a client’s deadline for a special, high-end event.
The shipment included 11 fragrance machines, 35 bottles of perfume, and 10 containers of liquid perfume, weighing a total of 220 kilograms. Because some of these items are flammable, special care was needed to ensure their safe transport.
To manage this challenging shipment, CEVA Logistics worked closely with teams in different locations. They followed international rules for shipping hazardous materials, ensuring everything was done safely and correctly.
To protect the fragile glass perfume bottles, they used special packaging. This included leak-proof containers, cushioning materials like bubble wrap, and sturdy shipping boxes to keep everything secure during the journey.
The team also carefully planned to handle customs processes smoothly, making sure to follow both French export rules and Chinese import requirements. This careful preparation helped the shipment clear customs quickly, allowing it to arrive on time for the event.
This case highlights the complexities of international shipping, especially when dealing with delicate and hazardous items. CEVA Logistics’ successful delivery shows the importance of teamwork and strict safety measures in the transportation industry.
