A new 2,700m² logistics facility has been inaugurated in Bilbao, northern Spain, significantly enhancing operational capacity in the region.
The facility features 2,000m² of warehouse space and 400m² of office space, and can process up to 1,500 packages per hour—more than double the capacity of the previous site. It also includes 27 loading docks, streamlining shipment handling and improving efficiency for regional operations.
The expansion forms part of a broader network in the Basque region, which includes additional facilities in nearby cities and an air gateway connecting to Europe and international destinations. Collectively, these locations now have a combined sorting capacity of up to 6,000 packages per hour.
Officials noted that the new facility represents a significant investment in operational capabilities, enabling enhanced service offerings for customers and supporting regional and international logistics needs.
This follows a recent opening of a new air and ground logistics facility in Estonia, connecting directly to a major European air hub, further strengthening the network across the continent.
