Trailer Freight International (TFI), a logistics company based in the West Midlands, has recently relocated to a new 1.5-acre site in West Bromwich after outgrowing its previous 10,000 square foot facility in Walsall. The move, involving an investment of over £1 million, comes as a response to a period of rapid growth for the company, which has also seen it double the size of its fleet from nine to 18 vehicles.
Allan Collins, Director of TFI, commented on the expansion, noting the company’s commitment to maintaining its operations within the Black Country, close to major transportation links like the M6 and M5. “Our recent growth is an enormous success story, and we have been able to achieve it while keeping our roots firmly within the Black Country,” said Collins. “It is testament to how quickly we have grown that we are on the move again less than three years after taking on our last new premises. The future is looking bright for TFI.”
The company attributes much of its recent success to its membership in the Pallet-Track network, which it joined in September 2021. Collins credited the team’s excellent handling of Pallet-Track work as a significant factor in their growth.
Stuart Godman, CEO of Pallet-Track, also praised TFI’s achievements, highlighting the benefits of network partnerships. “The success of Trailer Freight International is a wonderful example of the transformative impact joining a network can have,” said Godman. “We support our shareholder members, and our members support us – it is the perfect example of a partnership which delivers remarkable results for both sides. I’m sure TFI’s move to its new headquarters will be a hugely productive one and I look forward to sharing in its future successes.”
TFI’s move and expansion not only enhance its operational capacity but also position the company for continued success and growth in the logistics sector.
