South Western Railway (SWR) has announced the extension of several train services and temporary stoppages for the benefit of passengers.
The unreserved special trains operating between Belagavi and Miraj have been extended until January 31, 2025. These trains, designated as Train Nos. 07301/07302 and Train Nos. 07303/07304, were initially scheduled to operate only until December 31, 2024. The trains will continue with their existing composition, timings, and stoppages.
Additionally, the temporary one-minute stoppage at Birur Station for Train Nos. 16587/16588 Yesvantpur-Bikaner-Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Express has been extended. This change will be in effect from January 1 to June 30, 2025, and the train’s existing schedule will remain unchanged.
Furthermore, the Railway Board has approved the extension of Train Nos. 07377/07378 Vijayapura-Mangaluru-Vijayapura Daily Express Special services. Train No. 07377, operating from Vijayapura to Mangaluru, will continue its services until June 30, 2025, while Train No. 07378, running in the reverse direction, will operate until July 1, 2025. These services were previously set to conclude on December 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025, respectively.
