South Western Railway (SWR) has announced the extension of train services and temporary stoppages to accommodate passenger needs.
The unreserved special trains running between Belagavi and Miraj, originally scheduled to operate until December 31, 2024, have been extended to continue until January 31, 2025. The trains, numbered 07301/07302 and 07303/07304, will maintain their current composition, schedule, and stoppages.
In addition, the one-minute temporary stoppage at Birur Station for Train Nos. 16587/16588 Yesvantpur-Bikaner-Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Express has been extended. This stoppage will remain in effect from January 1 to June 30, 2025, without changes to the train’s schedule.
SWR has also extended the services of Train Nos. 07377/07378 Vijayapura-Mangaluru-Vijayapura Daily Express Special. Train No. 07377, which runs from Vijayapura to Mangaluru, will continue until June 30, 2025, while Train No. 07378, operating in the opposite direction, will extend until July 1, 2025. These services were initially set to end on December 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025, respectively.
