Progress in Digital Credentials Projects Across Bangladesh, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Zambia

Various countries are actively implementing projects to issue digital credentials, with notable advancements in Bangladesh, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Zambia.

Bangladesh is set to introduce a pilot project for digital health cards in January, aimed at enhancing patient information management. The cards, linked to national IDs or birth certificates, will digitize medical appointments, history, and test records. The pilot, part of Bangladesh’s efforts to establish a digital public infrastructure, will facilitate online and offline registrations.
