Kenya is expanding its aviation network with new domestic and international air routes, creating stronger connections for passengers, businesses, and regional supply chains.
Among the latest approvals is a new connection between western Kenya and Saudi Arabia, giving the region its first direct international link to the Gulf market through Jeddah.
New domestic services will also connect key locations including Eldoret, Garissa, Kisumu, Lamu, Lodwar, Malindi, and Mombasa, improving movement between important economic and commercial centers.
The expansion can support faster cargo movement, greater market access, tourism, and regional economic activity, while providing businesses with additional transportation options.
Kenya is also expanding aviation capabilities for agricultural services, wildlife surveys, firefighting, and flight training, demonstrating the broader role of aviation infrastructure in supporting economic development.
