Third-party logistics providers led demand with 34% of total leasing, while engineering and manufacturing companies contributed another 28%. Together, the two sectors represented more than 60% of overall activity.

The automotive sector also emerged as a key growth driver, recording 4.8 MSF of leasing, nearly double its level a year earlier. Expansion across the electric vehicle value chain contributed to increased demand for industrial facilities.

At the regional level, Delhi NCR led with 24% of total leasing, followed by Chennai at 17% and Pune at 16%. Strong activity across these markets reflects continued investment in manufacturing, distribution and logistics networks.

The record performance highlights the growing role of modern logistics infrastructure in supporting India’s industrial expansion, supply chain resilience and long-term economic growth.
