JD Logistics has launched a new air cargo route connecting Shenzhen, China, to Bangkok, Thailand. The route, operated by JD Airlines, officially commenced on January 3, 2025, with its first flight carrying e-commerce goods. The service will run three times per week, focusing on transporting electronics, apparel, small appliances, and industrial goods from China to Thailand. Additionally, it will facilitate the export of Thai seafood and fruits to China.
This new air route will also serve as a critical link for shipments to Europe and North America. JD Logistics aims to enhance its overseas distribution network, providing more efficient transportation for goods in the region. The move reflects JD Logistics’ ongoing efforts to expand its global air freight capabilities, as part of its broader international logistics strategy.
JD Logistics has previously launched other international cargo services, including a route to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and operates several self-operated warehouses in Southeast Asia. This new Shenzhen-Bangkok route is an extension of JD’s ambitious logistics expansion, reinforcing its goal to establish an integrated supply chain across key international markets.
