The United States is strengthening support for small businesses through a new funding initiative designed to enhance supply chain capabilities, expand production capacity, and encourage participation in key industries.
A new grant program will provide up to $9 million in funding to support organizations that help small businesses improve operations, access technical assistance, and develop stronger connections within strategic supply chains.
The initiative focuses on priority sectors including advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, defense-related industries, energy and critical materials, agriculture, and transportation infrastructure. Through these efforts, small businesses will receive support to scale their capabilities and contribute to more efficient and resilient supply networks.
The program will work with public and private organizations, nonprofit groups, and institutions that provide business acceleration programs, industry support, and supply chain development services.
By investing in innovation, production capacity, and logistics capabilities, the initiative aims to strengthen domestic supply chains and create new opportunities for small businesses across important economic sectors.
