Global logistics specialist Onpoint Group has announced the acquisition of Eric Elliott Transport, a Midlands-based haulage company with a history dating back to the 1950s. The transaction, supported by KBS Corporate, is expected to expand Onpoint’s capabilities and regional presence.
Eric Elliott Transport, headquartered in Gotham, Nottinghamshire, provides haulage and waste removal services, supporting industries such as agriculture, construction, demolition, and recycling. The company owns its own fleet of vehicles and has established a longstanding presence in the region.
Following the acquisition, Onpoint Group will expand its range of services to include bulk haulage, walking-floor trailers, muck-away services, grab hire, aggregates supply, and recycling.
In a statement, Onpoint Group noted that the acquisition would strengthen its portfolio by adding specialized expertise and services in key sectors. Alex Bush, Onpoint’s Commercial Director, described the move as a significant step in the company’s growth, enhancing its ability to serve customers in Nottingham and surrounding areas.
“This acquisition allows us to combine our teams’ experience and capabilities to deliver greater value, efficiency, and sustainability across our operations,” Bush said.
The deal was facilitated by KBS Corporate, with transaction support from Andrew King of Duncan & Toplis and legal counsel provided by Mackrell Solicitors, including James McKimm and Guvvy Sandhu.
The acquisition is part of Onpoint Group’s broader strategy to expand its service offerings and strengthen its presence in the UK logistics and haulage sector.
