Kazakhstan is expanding its transport infrastructure to strengthen its position as a key logistics hub between Europe and Asia.
From January to June 2026, transit freight increased 24% to 21.7 million tons, highlighting growing demand for the country’s trade corridors.
More than $32 billion is expected to support 55 major transport projects, including new roads, railways and logistics infrastructure. The Middle Corridor remains central to efforts to connect China, Central Asia and Europe.
Beyond infrastructure, Kazakhstan is focusing on digital documentation, faster border procedures and stronger regional coordination to make cargo movement more predictable and efficient.
By connecting logistics hubs with warehousing, manufacturing and services, Kazakhstan aims to capture greater economic value from rising trade flows while strengthening its role in Eurasian supply chains.
