Singapore — 3 February 2026 — The International Trade Council (ITC) today announced a major breakthrough in applied artificial intelligence for international trade: instant, tailored market-entry intelligence reports produced through its subsidiary, the International Centre for Trade Transparency Limited (ICTTM), using the ADAMftd platform.

This new capability is designed for importers, exporters, customs brokers, and trade compliance teams who need fast, dependable answers about foreign market potential—without the delays, guesswork, or cost traditionally associated with market research.

Unlike conventional market reports that rely heavily on aggregated statistics, outdated datasets, or broad survey-based estimates, ADAMftd is built to support decision-making using real-world trade evidence—including government customs agency data and shipping documentation—combined with compliance-relevant information such as tariffs, trade rules and regulations, company registry intelligence, and sanctions screening. The result is a practical, execution-ready report that helps teams identify real buyers, understand pricing dynamics, map competitive activity, and reduce border and compliance risk.

“International trade runs on evidence—declarations, documents, and verifiable records,” said Ranjani Rangan, Chairperson of the International Trade Council. “This breakthrough brings AI to where it belongs: transforming real-world data into decision-ready intelligence. It is a world-first breakthrough for our organization’s mission—improving transparency, reducing risk, and helping businesses trade with confidence.”

Hon. David Wells, Chairman of the International Centre for Trade Transparency Limited, added: “We built this to solve the biggest frustrations trade professionals face—data lag, vague summaries, and unreliable ‘AI’ outputs. ADAMftd is designed to reduce guesswork by grounding reports in real-world trade activity and compliance requirements.”

No lag, no guesswork, no “AI hallucinations”

The ITC emphasized that the solution is engineered to avoid the common pitfalls of generic AI research tools. The reports are produced from structured data pipelines and verifiable sources, allowing businesses to move beyond:

  • Lagging, generic, or overly broad statistics
  • Expensive reports that take weeks and cost tens of thousands
  • AI-generated content that sounds confident but cannot be validated

Instead, ADAMftd delivers a structured report format intended for action—covering market opportunity, pricing dynamics, importer and buyer mapping, compliance and documentation requirements, and a practical set of next steps for market entry.

Forecasting market price and demand
In addition to describing current market conditions, ADAMftd can also generate forward-looking market signals, including forecasts of future market price and demand using proprietary analytical tools, to support planning, budgeting, and go-to-market timing decisions.
