India’s logistics infrastructure is set for further expansion as a ₹225 crore investment supports the development of a 20 million sq ft warehousing platform across 14 cities.
The investment will help expand Grade A warehousing and cold-storage facilities, with a focus on strengthening logistics capacity in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Around 8 million sq ft of the planned capacity is already under construction.
The initiative is expected to address supply chain infrastructure gaps, improve storage and distribution capabilities, and support more efficient movement of goods across growing regional markets.
The development could also generate approximately 24,000 direct jobs, highlighting the broader economic impact of continued investment in India’s logistics sector.
The expansion reflects growing demand for modern warehousing and temperature-controlled infrastructure as India strengthens its supply chain network and supports wider industrial and economic growth.
